It's kind of irksome sometimes that the truest things are also the most difficult to live. When I read that volume, it was a toughie. It took me a long time to reconcile myself to the truth that all hurt comes from letting our passions and attachments drive us. Even after working on it for a few years, I still can only get it in patches. It was what I was meditating on before we had our talk on Thursday. Being attached to the outcome is hard to let go of. Seeing where our drive for approval or stability or attraction pushes us into places we don't need to go for ourselves. Kind of like the Miami Ink thing has ben for me. Regardless, it's a good thing to have in your head. Let it make your bottom.
